Becky Eldredge is an uplifting and enthusiastic motivational speaker, who has the knowledge, training and experience to lead people on a faith filled journey that will transform the heart and renew the mind and spirit. Her presentation will introduce us to simple practices that will show us how even brief moments of quiet with Jesus will change the way we deal with everyday frustrations and our interactions with others. She will also teach us how to be more aware of the presence of God in our daily lives and recognize the gifts he gives us in the middle of our overscheduled lives.

Take this opportunity to spend some time surrounded by the beauty of Lake Tahoe and attend this retreat to learn insights and practices from an Ignatian-Trained spiritual director and acclaimed author, that will strengthen your relationship with God and make a positive change in your spiritual life.

There are two days of reflection…

Friday’s Evening of Reflection “Making Hope Real”, will be offered to men and women and will focus on having and keeping hope in your life.

Ask yourself, have you ever found yourself in a situation where it is hard to hold onto hope? Hope is an invitation to see and appreciate the world, much like God does, and believe that things can improve. It is a call to
action, rather than a chance to stick our heads in the sand like an ostrich and cross our fingers. In this
workshop, Becky shows you how to make hope real, even when your season of life feels anything but
hopeful. She will offer you tools on how to name what’s really going on in your life, how to bring the
reality of what you are facing to God, and how to nurture hope.

Saturday’s Day of Reflection, “Making Room for God in the Busyness” will be offered to women only and will focus on learning to make time for God and deepen your relationship with him.

This retreat if offered and for those that feel like you have no time for God in your day-to-day life? Do you ever wonder how your life could be different if you could nurture your relationship with God while tending to other responsibilities in your life? Our lives are busy, and it might feel like a challenge to take care of daily tasks, let alone make room for God. The reality is when God gets pushed to the side, we can begin to feel “off” and restless. We will also spend some time in prayer to renew your spirit in addition to exploring practical ways we CAN make time for God in our lives and nurture our awareness of God encountering us, even amidst the busyness of life!
