Imago Dei-Image of God: Initiative for Racial Reconciliation
Join us for a 5-part Lenten series devoted to racial reconciliation with expert presenters. Sundays at 11:00am from February 25 to March 18.

The Basilica of Saint Mary is dedicated to the eradication of racism and seeks to become a community of racial reconciliation.

Fr. Larry Snyder, vice-president for mission at the University of St. Thomas and former president of Catholic Charities USA, will discuss how Catholic Charities has approached the work of racial reconciliation, and will present information about some of the historical practices that ensured that African Americans and other populations of color could not access economic resources available to European Americans. He will also suggest ways for the Basilica to deepen its work in racial reconciliation.
