The CLG of KC will host Nik Nikas from the Bioethics Defense Fund for a lunch discussion on the relationship of the law and morality.
Please join us for the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kansas City’s first lunch lecture of 2024. Nik Nikas, a nationally known lawyer for the Bioethics Defense Fund, will tell us “What Cicero, Aquinas, Dred Scott, Lincoln and the Nuremberg Trials can teach lawyers about the relationship between law and morality.”
The lecture will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Polsinelli’s offices on the Plaza. We’ll start with a Garozzo’s feast of chicken spiedini, pasta and salad. Parking is free under the Polsinelli building; just save your ticket for validation upstairs.
