Sr. Mary Beth Lloyd, FSP (Religious Teachers Filipini) “The Running Nun”, will speak at Christ Our King’s Grace Hall Thursday, April 4, at 7pm. Sr. Mary Beth will speak about her international ministry to children who have been orphaned by AIDS and other tragedies. Sr. Mary Beth will run in this year’s Cooper River Bridge Run (in her habit!) to raise awareness of the plight of these children. Her order works with and lifts up the poorest of the poor across the globe, addressing the most dire plights of families and children you’ll ever see. All are welcome. Please feel free to bring along a light refreshment or snack to share with others. Children are welcome to accompany their parents.
