“Don’t Stop Us from Dying with You!”:The Spirituality of China’s Martyr Saints

Learn about the profound spirituality of China’s holy martyr saints who were canonized by Pope St. John Paul II in 2000. This day of prayer shall include descriptions of the lives, unique spiritual insights, and sacrifices of the Church’s saints of China. Short readings will also be provided to guide you through Chinese methods of prayer popular in China to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Sheshan. In addition, Dr. Clark will have available rare images and relics related to these saints for veneration.
This Day of Prayer begins with , a Litany to the Saints of China, and includes a Votive Mass in Honor of China’s Martyrs with veneration of holy relics, two conferences, lunch and concludes with the Rosary and Adoration. $38 per person ($48 with the use of a private room for the day.)

Dr. Anthony E. Clark
Dr. Clark is the Edward B. Lindaman Endowed Chair in history at Whitworth University, and is the host of the 13-part EWTN television series, “Saints of China: Martyrs of the Middle Kingdom.” He has published several books and articles on Catholicism in China, and is a contributing editor for Catholic World Report. Clark conducts his research in several countries, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, and the Vatican, where he consults materials on China’s saints in the Pope’s private library and the Secret Archives.
