Grounded in Scripture, Catholic Social Teaching and Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, this year’s Earth Day program will help mobilize the Catholic community to take urgent action to protect all of God’s Creation.
Learn about the alarming decline in the diversity and population of many plant and animal species—the gifts of God’s Creation which sustain all human life. You’ll also learn how we can protect all life through our individual actions, through our communities, and through national and global advocacy and action.
This event is hosted by Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo’s Laudato Si’ Task Force and St. John XXIII’s OurNEST (Natural Environmental Stewardship Team).
