Fanning the Flame is for 9th & 10th graders, AND for their parents, Confirmation sponsors, and parish leaders. While a team of young adults leads the youth through a day focused on discerning the movement of the Holy Spirit in their lives, a team of adults elsewhere on the campus will lead the parents, sponsors, and parish leaders through a similar day of reflection. The two days will overlap at lunch and Mass, but are otherwise fairly independent entities.
