HOLD ONTO YOUR KNUCKLES!
TIME TO GET BACK IN THE CLASSROOM TO
Mrs. Mary Margaret O’Brien’s Guide to the Golden Rule!

Vicki Quade, the creator and co-author of Late Nite Catechism, thinks the title of her interactive comedy, Mrs. Mary Margaret O’Brien’s Guide to the Golden Rule!
says it all: just when you thought it was safe to go back into the classroom, Mrs. O’Brien shows up, this time without her habit!

Quade calls the show “a funny refresher course in a modern look at the Golden Rule. Mrs. O’Brien is in charge and she has her own opinions on just about everything, from the shade of your lipstick to the I-Pod in your pocket.”

In 1993, Vicki Quade brought to life an idea for a one woman show that would become the hit comedy, Late Nite Catechism, which has been running in Chicago since 1993 and turned into a national and international hit, with productions in more than 150 cities.

In addition, each of Quade’s shows is used to raise much needed retirement funds for orders of nuns throughout the country. Through her comedies, Quade has helped raise more than $3 million in donations to various orders of nuns nationwide.

For her work raising awareness of the plight of retired Sisters, Vicki Quade received the Spirit of Benedict Award in 2003 from the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago, and, in 2005, she was given a Partners in Mission Award by the Sisters of the Living Word in Arlington Heights, IL. She was honored in 2009 by the Sisters of Providence in Indiana for donations to that order.
