The Newman Catholic Center is having a Healing Mass this Wednesday in the Student Union Boardroom
The Ninth Chapter of the Gospel of Matthew is filled with the healings of Jesus. In one case, a woman suffering “for twelve years said to herself, ‘If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.’” Then, when she touched the tassel, “Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And from that hour the woman was cured.”
But does this happen today? Yes, it does! Jesus Christ walks among us, most powerfully in His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Eucharist. Come encounter this gift, whether you are Catholic, Christian, or nothing, and reach out and touch Jesus with faith, asking for the healing you need!
We will have a Mass at 8 pm, followed by a time of encountering Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, receiving His Mercy through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and being filled with His Love through prayer ministry. Come and learn what a Healing Mass is all about.
