Are you a Catholic interested in deepening your relationship with God through prayer? If this describes you and you are a practicing Roman Catholic, male or female, married or single and between the age of 18 and 65, God may be calling you to be a Secular Carmelite. Please consider joining us for an introductory meeting to discuss the Secular Carmelite vocation.
The Mission of Carmel is that “we know God so that God may be known”. We have a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother and enjoy a community life which is a time of prayer, fellowship, support and study which is especially focused on our Carmelite Saints, 3 of whom are Doctors of the Church. Through prayer, support and study we deepen our prayer life, spread Carmelite Spirituality and address the needs of our Church and world. If this is of interest to you, please join us and find out more about our community in Marquette! Please note this community is open to all practicing Catholics regardless of parish. We even have members from Munising! We look forward to meeting you.
