Martin Doman, a Catholic musician, praise and worship leader, and Director of Worship at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI., is our March Disciples’ Night speaker.

This talk will focus on the fundamental meaning of the term praise and worship, and how it can be lived out in a Catholic context, with all the liturgical and extra-liturgical ramifications. What does it mean for us as Catholics to “lead worship?” Isn’t that what the priest does? What is the unique charism that we as Catholics have when it comes to praying with music, and how can we more fully live that?

Schedule for the evening:

Mass at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner at 7:15 p.m.
Talk begins at 8:00 p.m.

Join us whenever you can! Please RSVP as soon as possible so we know you’re coming and can plan for food, and inform of us of any dietary restrictions you may have.

ABOUT OUR GROUP:

We’re a community of young adults in our 20s and 30s seeking to be formed as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ.

The “i.d.” stands for “intentional disciples” and the 9:16 is a reference to 1 Corinthians 9:16 — “For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”

Our Disciples’ Nights include praise & worship, Mass, dinner, drinks, fellowship and an engaging talk on one of the four pillars — conversion, communion, orthodoxy and mission.

We welcome all young adults: single, married — and your children too!
