Mass and Day of Blessings for marriages and families at St. Bernard’s Church with Bishop David Konderla and Fr. James Brent, OP. Mass begins at 10 am. Fr. James is an Eastern Province Dominican who is Assistant Professor of Philosophy for the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies. He is also Director of the Eastern Province Angelic Warfare Confraternity. All persons are invited, including single, divorced, and widowed. After a brief homily on marriage and family life, attendees will come forward as families to be blessed. Fathers will be blessed with the Oil of St. Joseph from St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal. Mothers will receive a miraculous medal with their blessing. The entire family will then receive Bishop Konderla’s episcopal blessing. There will also be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
