The NDSU vs. UND annual Bike Race & Ride is the largest fundraiser for the Newman Center and provides an opportunity for bisonCatholic students and community members to be active in a fun and challenging event for everyone!
NDSU & UND will meet in Hillsboro and start the new 25-mile race on County Hwy 13 (north and east of Hillsboro), ride to Caledonia and then back to Hillsboro and the finish line. The winner will be determined by the number of total riders who finish, the number of riders with the top ten times, and the most money raised.
Riders fundraise at least $200 by asking family & friends to sponsor them -or- pay a $25 registration fee on Registration Day (Friday, April 27)
Top Fundraiser gets a Car!! Yes, that’s right! The person who fundraises the most will be awarded a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage!!
2. Second Fundraiser gets a 50cc Scooter
3. Third Fundraiser gets a Road Bike
4. Drawing for $1,000 CASH PRIZE!
Every $250 you fundraise = 1 ticket in the drawing
Every Captain who recruits 10 riders gets 1 free ticket
5. Top Rider gets a $500 gift card to be used at the Scheel’s Bike Shop, plus a FREE custom bike fitting service ($200 value)…total $700 value!!
