Mark your calendars! You sure don’t want to miss this! We are blessed to have Rev. Michael Champagne CJC, a native of Acadiana, lead our Lenten Mission this year. The theme is: “Four Last Things.”
In his priesthood, Fr. Champagne has served as a hospital chaplain, a hospice chaplain a spiritual director, and on various lay and diocesan committees.
In 2006 he founded the Aquinas Institute of Theology in Lafayette, where he serves as Director and a faculty member. He has taught Spiritual Theology
at NDS and also has taught in the diaconal formation program for Lafayette.
Currently Fr. Champagne is Religious Superior of the Community of Jesus Crucified and Spiritual Director of the lay community. He has led scores of retreats, missions and clergy days, and is often featured on a weekly diocesan television series, “What It Means to be Catholic.” He is an adjunct spiritual director at Notre Dame Seminary.
