This evening—the Cantate Domino Choir and String Ensemble will perform one of the most celebrated works of the composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, his “Stabat Mater”, at tonight’s Stations of the Cross (7:30pm). Absolutely free, and all are welcome.
The “Stabat Mater” is not only regarded as one of Pergolesi’s greatest, but it also was the last he wrote before his death in 1736 at only 26.
One of the most beautifully powerful ways to reflect and pray the Stations of the Cross, especially during Lent.
