Rachel’s Vineyard was started in 1994, by Dr. Theresa Burke, a psychotherapist who wrote the book: “Forbidden Grief: The Unspoken Pain of Abortion”. Rachel’s Vineyard is a post-abortion ministry rooted in scripture.
Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat is a three day weekend for those suffering from an abortion decision. RVR provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Abortion leaves a hole in the soul which only God can fill. Because of shame and regret, many post-abortive persons feel alienated from Mother Church and isolated from their faith community.
