Pauline Books and Media Center in Culver City is sponsoring “To Jesus through Mary,” a retreat with Fr. Lawrence Shelton. We long to have an intimate relationship with Jesus; Mary helps us do this. After all, she received Jesus in her own body and helps us know Jesus better and receive him into ourselves in the Eucharist. In this retreat, Fr. Shelton helps us realize Mary’s place in God’s saving plan and we are led to cherish her and our prayer to her. This leads us more deeply into a loving union with Jesus through Mary. The retreat will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Mass available at 4:00 p.m. It will be held at Pauline Books & Media, 3908 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, CA 90230.
