TrueManhood offers a life-changing and unique experience in a dynamic retreat for men and women. This retreat is especially geared towards YOUNG ADULTS, in association with City on a Hill Catholic Young Adult Ministry in Kansas City-St. Joseph, MO, and will empower a man or woman to embrace his masculinity or her femininity AND his/her spirituality.
Retreat consists of an amazing outdoor experience, coupled with prayer and sacraments, outdoor activities, and amazing fellowship. The outdoor nature of the retreat speaks to the heart, gives you the chance to chop wood and start a fire with it, shoot firearms and handle various weaponry, be engulfed in the land, and experience Christ among these awesome opportunities. Retreatants will leave invigorated, inspired, and ready to live as saints!
Fr. Mattingly will be with us to offer the Holy Mass, hear Confessions, and give spiritual guidance. The ranch includes a beautiful chapel and outdoor stations walk amid the gorgeous wooded landscape.
This event is an intense yet relaxing 12 hours, making it easy for you to attend without compromising their busy schedules. Ya’ll – take the time to do this for yourself! ALL are welcome (you do not have to be Catholic to attend.)
Typically, “young adults” are considered 18-39. Folks should use their discretion when registering, in regards to age. Young adults may be single, married, parents, divorced, or widows/ers. (The terrain may not be suitable for all people – it is rough in places. Be advised, contact Dave@TrueManhood.com before registering should you have concerns. (Folks with financial concerns may also contact us for potential scholarships.)
