Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals are invited to join Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger and the St. Luke’s Guild and Albany Catholic Medical Guild for the annual White Mass for Health Care Workers.
Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger will celebrate the White Mass on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 5:15 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
The White Mass, so named by the color worn by those in the healing profession of medicine, gathers health care professionals under the patronage of St. Luke to ask God’s blessing upon the patient, doctor, nurse, and caregiver alike.
